"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word,
in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity"(I Tim. 4:12). What
does God expect from a teenager? Is it enough that a teenager simply stay out of
trouble? We believe that God has a plan and purpose for the teenage years. Our teens
are to use their teen life for God. He has a calling for them to fulfill. We believe
the Christian life for a teen is an adventure that requires a deep, heartfelt commitment,
and we plan activities that center around the theme of adventure. From snorkeling
in the Florida Keys, to Whitewater Rafting in the Carolinas, to accomplishing a
"Mission Impossible" on a Saturday night, FBC teens have no lack of adventure--and
a fundamental part of that adventure is the development of their spiritual lives.
